Anecdotes is a B-round startup founded in June 2020 that is leading the compliance automation space for hyper-growth companies. We believe that credible, visible, and actionable data should be the foundation of every GRC (governance, risk, and compliance) team’s decision-making process. That is why we help enterprises collect and standardize data from hundreds of SaaS tools, cloud infrastructures, private networks, databases, and more, to gain continuous visibility into their security compliance posture.
Anecdotes’ Partner Ecosystem is made up of the best-in-class consultancies, agencies, and technology providers globally. We are looking for a Director of Strategic Alliances to help elevate and grow the Audit & Risk Advisory Alliance partner motion for Anecdotes. You will be managing a collection of Strategic Alliance partners like KPMG, Deloitte, PwC, and MSP partners; responsible for setting the strategy and direction of the partnership to drive revenue for Anecdotes. Anecdotes Partner Managers are masters of managing global relationships, building and executing on strategic partner plans, and are hungry to drive revenue through a mixture of marketing initiatives and sales collaboration. They have a deep understanding of the Audit & Risk Advisory landscape and the in-market experience to identify and grow partners who see the value of Anecdotes. They also have the drive to help them build a business on top of it.
What you'll do
- Global role leading day-to-day relationships and activities with a keen focus on KPMG, Deloitte, PwC, and a short list of Managed Services Partners.
- Own and execute Pilot Phases and drive the success of each program to achieve Enterprise Partner Agreements as part of the long-term strategy.
- Own the entire Alliance relationship and maintain relationships with the most senior levels of the assigned partner(s).
- Take complete ownership of the assigned partner(s) revenue goals, pipeline development.
- Coach partners on the value of developing differentiated solution offerings that combine their IP and our Anecdotes Compliance OS platform.
- Collaborate with Anecdotes SE’s, Onboarding and Enablement teams to ensure deep penetration into partner Field Sales and Assurance teams.
- Increase partner-driven sales by creating a territory strategy with Regional Account Executives, and Sales Leaders by designing and running activities such as: Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), joint account mapping, joint pipeline review and forecast, solution definition and alignment.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of combined experience at one of the Big 4 Accounting Firms although this is not a firm requirement for the right candidate.
- 8+ years of experience with a demonstrated sales and channel track record of success, working with Managed Service Providers, Audit and/or Risk Advisory firms and/or Value-added Reseller partners.
- Recent and detailed working knowledge of the InfoSec or GRC landscape.
- Strong executive presence, including communication and presentation skills with a high degree of comfort to both large and small audiences.
- Ability to juggle projects simultaneously, working both independently and collaboratively across diverse internal and external teams.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Product, etc) across different regions and territories.
- Ability to travel as required.
